A KITCHEN REMODEL

This is the kitchen before I removed all the wallboard to expose the framing. I removed a bearing beam and installed a flush header. The flush header allows a flow through ceiling. This header design allows cabinets to be installed into the additional space with a clean unbroken look. The cabinets are 36 inch hangers which allow for a nice crown moulding for that rich look. The next process is for the plumbing and electrical fixtures to be installed along with the range. Some final follow-up photos will be published upon total completion.

This is the current status of the kitchen remodel, awaiting plumbing and electrical fixtures to complete the project. More to come...
